This award was established in1983 by the department in honor of Dr. Imrie, a lifelong supporter of medical education and our department. This cash prize and certificate are awarded to a senior medical student from the University of Mississippi Medical Center's School of Medicine for outstanding performance in the department. The recipient will also have his or her name engraved on a perpetual wall plaque displayed in the orthopedic classroom area of the Medical Tower building. |
